OnePlus Nord will not go on sale until early August, but that won’t stop OnePlus from releasing early updates. For those who already have the device in hand, look for an update to OxygenOS 10.5.2.
The update began spreading today and may take several days to reach all devices (I can’t pull it out yet). Once it arrives, it will bring support for the new OnePlus buds. This update adds OnePlus Buds so that the buds can be further updated and customized. OnePlus was supposed to release it before the media could check it, like I’ve already picked up updates after side loading an application that really improves Buds. I don’t feel like many did it after looking at the initial reviews.
The update also optimizes things like camera opening gesture and energy efficiency for the selfie camera when shooting 4K 60fps. It also fixes system stability and other bugs, while updating them all to the July Android security patch.
To check for an update, go to Settings> System> System Update.
